Elizabeth died at Nunney Lane although the church record shows her
living at Welshmill Lane. An M.A. Pearce registered her death. The
1851 census shows Elizabeth Pearce, widow [age 49] living at 3 Welshmill Lane
with her children. The youngest child is 5 so M.A.P. could be her
husband who would have been alive in 1846, assuming he sired the
youngest child. Also, there is a Benjamin Pearce & family[wife - Eliza, age 40] living in
6 Nunney Lane in 1851. It is possible Elizabeth was visiting that family
& that Benjamin was the brother of M.A.P. [This Pearce family at same address in 1841 - children = Mary 9, Emma7, Jane 4, George 2 months]
Elizabeth married Joseph Isger, son of Joseph Isger and Rachel Greene, on 25 Nov 1811 in Frome, SOM.2 (Joseph Isger was born about 1790 in Frome, SOM 8, christened on 2 Oct 1805 in Frome, SOM 12 and died in 1841 in Frome, SOM 8.)
