William was a labourer and at the time of the 1881 census was living
with his married sister, Elizabeth Holford in 7 Park Road East
Brighton. He is shown as a married man but no details of his wife have been found.
1851 census - William Isgar, 139 York Street, Frome, unmarried, head of house - nobody else living there - cloth worker.
No trace of him in 1861 & 1871 British census or USA 1880 census. Best guess is that he went to America about 1852/3 and returned to the UK between 1871 & 1881.
